I wanted to share my appreciation and support for Trena Richard for the role that she is foreseeing to fulfill.
I onboarded to Trena’s team April of 2024. During this period, I learned that Trena had been with the company for 13 years and going strong. The longevity Trena has in place already told me a lot about her commitment to her growth and achievements. Learning that Trena had experience in many departments under the company makes her a great asset. Allowing her to build a strong foundation in any role she took on, while still attending school to further continue her self-development. Setting herself up to succeed and become the amazing supervisor that she is.
I come from a great deal of experience in customer service. Over 22 yrs. In this time, I have worked with Target, Home Depot, Enterprise Holdings, and currently here at the company. In my time spent with these companies, I have advanced to many management positions, in which I received a lot of training from various individuals with unique styles. None like Trena.
Working under Trena’s supervision, I can firsthand say she is one of a kind. Trena is truly a relationship-building individual. She is passionate about driving forward the business with her team and any one of us would run walls for her to achieve goals together. She has a fire within her that fuels from mentoring, developing, and training others to their best potential. She has a candid way of doing it but does it with grace and positivity. Anytime Trena went over any opportunity I needed to strengthen; she never made me feel like there was something wrong. She made me feel capable, confident, and ensured she facilitated the tools necessary to ensure this opportunity became a strength.
Trena finds great return of investment in spending time with her team. When she is not teaching us something through our team meetings or huddles; she ensures to spend quality and impactful time in our one-on-one meetings. She knows how to apply strategy and eloquence in every interaction she has with us. She is a great motivator, promotes great morale, strong culture, while driving great results. Her long track record of success makes her the perfect person for this position.
